Performing Arts "Feet to the Street" Set for Sat.

On Oct. 8 from 12-3pm, students from Lakewood High's performing arts programs will take their "Feet to the Street" to knock on the doors of our neighbors, thank them for their support, and invite them to attend a performance this year. This event serves as a major fundraiser for Lakewood Music Boosters, which supports programs throughout the District. Please help support our Boosters, who provide so much to our students!

Olive's art work

The artwork of Lakewood High junior Olive Diemert has been selected to hang in the Vern Riffe Center for Government Affairs in Columbus as part of the two-year long Ohio House of Representatives High School Student Art Exhibit. The exhibit features exemplary visual art created by high school students from across Ohio.  One piece of art is selected for each of the Ohio House of Representatives' 99 districts. The exhibit is on display until June 2024. Congratulations to Olive and her teacher, Arline Olear! (Click Read More to see Olive's full art piece.)
